Every youth pastor knows the feeling. The lights are low, the worship is loud, and your students lean in. Hands shoot up. Tears flow. Students make decisions they’ll remember for years.
And then comes Monday.
By Monday morning, the mountaintop has faded. The alarm goes off, the calendar fills up, and between school, practice, work, and homework, the fire from the weekend already feels a hundred miles away. It’s not that your students don’t want to follow Jesus. It’s that nobody ever showed them how to do it on a normal Monday — when no one’s watching and the feeling’s gone.
So that gap, between the service and the rest of the week, is the whole reason Fresh Fire exists.
Our heart: from attending to abiding
Here’s what we believe: Jesus never meant following Him to be a once-a-week event. Instead, He meant it to be a daily walk. After all, He didn’t call His first disciples to attend a service — He called them to follow Him, every day, with their whole lives. That’s why our goal at Fresh Fire stays simple: help you move students past merely showing up on the weekend and into a real, daily relationship with Jesus that holds up Monday through Saturday.
And that’s exactly why we built ALL IN — a four-week teaching series that does just that.
What the series is about
ALL IN: Following Jesus Every Day takes students on a four-week journey from a once-a-week faith to a daily walk. Each week centers on one of the four daily rhythms that keep a relationship with Jesus alive:
- Read — getting into God’s Word
- Do — living it out
- Pray — staying connected to God
- Connect — staying connected to each other
The big idea stays simple: being “all in” with Jesus isn’t about one electric hour on the weekend. Instead, it’s about showing up daily. And by the end of the series, your students won’t just know that — they’ll have practiced it for four straight weeks.
A walk through the four weeks
Here’s how the four weeks unfold.
Week 1 — All In (John 15:1-8)
First, we start with the invitation. Jesus walked up to ordinary people and said two words: “Follow me.” Immediately, they left everything. That same invitation comes to every one of us — not just pastors or “super-Christians” — to be all in with our whole lives. So using a potted fruit tree as a visual, students learn that fruit doesn’t come from trying harder; it comes from staying connected to the Vine, every day.
Week 2 — Daily Bread (Matthew 4:1-4)
Next, we turn to hunger. When Jesus was starving in the wilderness, He said, “Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.” So with a loaf of bread on stage, this week makes the case that Scripture is daily food your soul actually runs on — not an occasional snack. As a result, students discover that when you know the truth well, you can spot the enemy’s lies the moment they show up.
Week 3 — Don’t Just Hear It (James 1:22-25)
Then comes the challenge to act. You can watch a hundred how-to videos and still not land a single backflip. In other words, watching isn’t doing — and James says the same thing about our faith. So with a mirror as the prop, Week 3 pushes students to stop being expert hearers of the Word and start being doers, because a faith you actually live is the only kind that holds when the storm hits.
Week 4 — Don’t Go Alone (Acts 2:42-47)
Finally, we land where so many people quietly drift: trying to follow Jesus alone. Using a single stick and a bundle of sticks, students see that one snaps easily but a bundle won’t break. The first church devoted themselves to prayer and to each other — and that’s what carried them. After all, prayer keeps us connected to God, and community keeps us connected to each other. God never designed us to do this solo.
What’s included in every week
ALL IN isn’t just a set of talks. Instead, each week gives you everything you need to lead, ready to use:
- A teaching outline — a full message with a hook, a hands-on prop, illustrations, a personal-story prompt, and a clear close.
- Small group discussion questions — organized into warm-up, digging into the Word, making it personal, and praying together.
- A 7-day Bible Reading Plan — a short daily passage with context, a devotional, and a reflection question.
- A 7-day Challenge Plan — one simple, doable action each day that turns what students heard into something they actually live.
That last piece is the secret sauce. The teaching plants the seed on the weekend, and then the daily reading and challenge plans keep it growing all week long — so the message doesn’t end when the lights come up.

Companion plans in the app (or printed — your call)
Here’s where it all comes together. We built every week’s Bible Reading Plan and Challenge Plan right into Fresh Fire App, so your students can complete them on their phones, one day at a time, with reminders that keep them on track. Even better, students and leaders can share their reflections from each reading, challenge, and prayer right into their small group’s group chat — which turns a private habit into a shared journey. After all, God never designed us to follow Jesus alone.
So want to see it for yourself? Check out the app and start a free trial here. You can try it with your whole group at no cost, and your students can complete the entire series for free.
But if the app isn’t your thing, no problem. We also wrote out every reading plan and challenge plan in full inside the curriculum, so you can simply print them and hand them out to your students. The series works beautifully either way, because the point isn’t the tool — it’s the daily walk.
Ready to go all in?
God made your students for more than a weekend high. He made them to walk with Jesus every single day — and you don’t have to figure out how to get them there on your own. ALL IN gives you the messages, the questions, and the daily plans, and then Fresh Fire App helps your students actually live it out all week.
So grab the series, pick your start date, and let’s help your students go all in.
